Ar bhfréamhacha is a live experience of traditional storytelling, song and dance.  It is situated near Slieve Bui in Ballyduff, Camolin, Co. Wexford, Ireland.

Gathering together the elderly storytellers in 1991 created an atmosphere beyond our wildest dreams.  Irish storytelling was on the verge of extinction at this time.  The atmosphere became an experience of what existed in bygone days.  It stirs the hearts of both local and people from abroad.

Hearing the voice of the Irish from abroad, through their present descendants has enriched the folklore and story of the Irish nation.  These stories relate the lives of those who left Ireland many, many years ago, their experiences, their lives – settling into a new culture and a new experience.

Join our international family of the Irish diaspora, connecting to Ar bhfréamhacha and through our conversation together telling the whole story of our people.
